"Blessings prayed for are not true blessings! They wanted nothing of gifts; either they already had everything they wanted or, if they lacked something, they got it for themselves. Their creed was a saying as brief as a wink and as clear and deep as a mountain stream: 'DO RIGHT AND FEAR NO ONE!' "- Heinrich Himmler, The Voice of Our Ancestors.
Often when we are new and first starting out on our path of Satanism, the Gods are there to help us in our times of true need. They will guide us, teach us, and assist us in all ways we need it. This is simple; the Gods love us, and care for us deeply. They wish to see us grow and evolve, to blossom brightly, into the greatness buried within us.
But this only goes so far. Satan and the Gods aren't a charity case. And a person does not learn from being given everything. A wolf cub will be taken out on the hunt after its first year. Here it learns from its elders how to hunt efficiently and productively, how to make gain successfully. If a wolf cub is constantly brought its meal over the course of its life, it learns nothing of gaining for itself. When thrust into the open on its own, it will surely die.
There will a come a point in your development, where you must begin to reach out on your own. Become your own person, and work as an individual.
That is, Satan and the Gods aren't going to hand everything to you, at just a prayer/ritual away. The Gods, in my experience, will challenge you. Challenge you to become a better, stronger, wiser person and individual. Teach you, through this method, to rise up and take or create the desired outcome, be it through physical or spiritual means.
My point of this post is simple. When the Gods aren't answering us, aren't giving us money, exacting revenge, healing our wounds, helping us secure this position or that socially or economically, this isn't because they are ignoring you. They aren't angry with you and haven't left you. You must ask yourself. Is this something that I can achieve on my own as a person?
Something that Satan told me early on as I was discovering this for myself, "I will never put you up against anything you cannot handle". Know in yourself, in your soul, that Satan IS always here for us, as are the Gods. But this does not mean they will do everything for you. You must act as an individual to take on a situation or challenge, face it, overcome it, and grow in the process. This is all a part of learning and advancing.
Look at each new endeavour in life and in Satanism as the Young Wolf Cub on his first hunt. Face it as a challenge to be overcome by what you have learnt from those who came before you, from your Fathers, from the Gods. And grasp every situation as an opportunity to learn from and grow. Each mistake is a lesson to be learnt and adapted for the next hunt.
Watch as the Young Wolf grows into an Alpha Wolf, leading the hunt with his years of experience, the time he put in to learn the best techniques and strategies to approach the hunt for a successful outcome.
There is no right, or perfection in Satanism. Simply, a journey of learning, discovering, and becoming.
Hail Satan! Praise the True Gods of Old!
Heil Himmler!
