just a some things on my mind.

Should I summon Satan? I am dedicated and want to know if I should summon him once just to greet him? And another thing is about the don't doubt yourself in the magic workings. How do I not doubt myself? I can't help it. It is just this thought that keeps popping up in my head. "Who am I kidding? I can't influence others with my mind" or stuff like "yeah this isn't going to work". I just don't know how to fix that part of myself.

Actually James, I believe it is JUST Lilith, not Lord Satan.

If we want him to, ask him to, eventually he will show himself to us or those who haven't seen him revealed in the astral mind yet.

I wouldn't bother wasting Satan's time summoning Him simply to greet
Him. Instead, do a ritual for the purpose of acknowledging Him and His
high position. Showing off is a waste of Demon time that otherwise
could be spent on doing something that would be more helpful or that
could be used to destroy the enemy.

Its been my understanding that you don't summon Satan or Lilith. If you ask Satan or Lilith for help then they will show you by unseen means if you aren't astrally open to see or hear them. I'm pretty positive that I have read this on the site or in the group. I'm going to double check.

Talk to that part of yours, see what it wants to do, what's it's positive interest. Obviously it tries to protect you of something. Then offer it an alternative way of doing that instead of doubting things which will cause your working to not work. Sounds silly,but it works.

And as others said, we don't summon Satan. All we do to Him is rituals, prayers and other things.

I don't think it's the best of the ideas simply because Satan is extremely busy as far as I know. But it's up to you, he will eventually go to YOU when you are READY.

It was never my intention to offend Father Satan by using the word summon. I just saw the word summon on the JoS site a few times and assumed that was how calling out to the gods was phrased. It does make more sense to use invoke. Thank you to all who have answered

I also don't care for the word 'summon' in this instance. It makes me think of being summoned to court or someone is demanding something of me. However, that's just my personal feelings.
