Is there any type of music I should play while doing my Dedication / Initiation Ritual today? Also I have a question about the writing of my name :)

Just a drop of blood is required at the end on the dedication, i believe i just did a drop of blood and my fingerprint specifically. I dedicated when i was barely a teenager, as for music i don't recall using music, but i don't see why you cannot use music so long as it is not offensive or anything like that. I second not playing music during the Sacred Dedication Rite. Silence is Sacred to Lord Zeus, and of all when performing this Dedication Rite, I believe it should only be at minimum the extra noise around yourself, aside from reading the Initiation Prayer itself and what you must do in maneuvering your ritual equipment, paper, and so on.

I signed at the bottom of the page, space your sentences, do not space them, the choice is yours, I would at least try to keep the writing even and tidy.

You only need a drop of blood and as the page notes, you may sign the rest of your name in ink.

I only signed my name with the drop of blood when it was at this stage:

'I, [write your name again], am now your Initiate.'

I also forgot to recite the letter as someone was trying to interrupt me and had to burn it fast... however I remember this being stated in the FAQ and that my devotion / dedication to do my best is what matters:

'Do NOT worry if the Ritual did not go perfectly; you have been accepted!'

I know in my heart and soul that I have been accepted, I just wanted to make sure I have not angered anyone so I can apologise out of respect when I do my prayers!

Thank you to everyone who has replied! I went into it with silence and followed through with silence also to not distract myself from the dedication!

I did the old one that had not been updated as I did not see these messages... as oneself was simply eager to get it done with as much dedication and preconceived intuition to what was available with my current understanding and circumstances at the time. The date and time held significant importance to my personal devotion that was all ;)
