by this I don't mean carbs like patatoes or vegetables but refined sugar even organic one that tends to be in every snack like biscuits, organic cereals, croissants, desserts ecc ?
I havent been eating any sugar lately like completely 0 other than honey(which is good sugar i will never quit eating), I have noticed some headaches the first days but now I feel good and not craving sugar constantly when doing stuff ecc and my hunger has increased a lot when it's actually lunch dinner or breakfast time.
whats your take on quitting that kind of sugar permanently?

I also quit using sugar a couple of years ago and I never felt better. I'm not a health expert, but I think by not using the industrial sugar(the one in soft drinks, candies) you're improving your health. I think sugar found in fruits and honey especially are healthy to consume. But that doesn't mean you should stop eating desserts or some biscuits from time to time.

As far as I remember, your body needs some amount of sugar. (for fat burning or citrate cycle..i can't recall). But it is surely good if you eat lesser amount. There is a lot of money in the sugar industry, and they want ppl to continue eating more sugar than we actually need.

Glucose is broken down for energy in the body through glycolysis which produces energy and Pyruvate.. These and other products of the process such as Acetyl CoA enter the citric acid cycle to form more energy.

Fat also produces Acetyl CoA to enter the citric acid cycle and glucogenic amino acids can form glucose through gluconeogenesis.

The only brain tissue that needs glucose is the brain which can also function on ketone bodies but these have other negative effects. Glucose is the most readily available, easily metabolised and quickest source of energy for the body, particularly muscles.

The body needs to maintain a steady blood sugar level of around 3.8 to 5 m/mol and does so with the intake of sugar and the formation of glucose from glucogenic proteins as well as lysis of glycogen stores from the liver.

Sugar comes in many forms, and the best one is complex carbohydrates which is basically glycogen in food form in which the body has to break down the bonds holding the glucose molecules together before using them.

Refined sugar is stripped of the minerals and other vitamins found in sugar cane (but not missing from backstrap molasses) which is why it is inherently bad for you but sugar itself is not so bad.

What a great answer, thank you a lot. I feel so much energetic ever since just eating completely natural and trying to avoid meat everyday. By the way, the si wu tang is working, I am definitely getting better and the pain in the liver is less, just to update you;)

In regards to blood sugar levels, too much fruit at once gives bloodsugar spikes which then have insulin spikes as a reaction which some studies say is one of ways people could get diabetus type 2 if theyre not that fat? Because the pancreas ? The gland that secretes insulin, would get overworked or something..

If people are prone to having blood sugar spikes and then drops they might benefit from regulating their intake..

Also, apple juice gives high blood sugar spikes.
