Is it ok to start a planet square and a rune spell on the same day and hour?

They’re for the same purpose. I’ll be using the same affirmation for both as I want the planetary energies to support the spell’s.

Can I start both on the same hour or is it better if I do each on a different hour (but for the same planet)?

It's been said before to not mix different "classes" of energies in one session, so I suggest you seperate them by that 6ish hours to use two instances of the planet's hours for that day.
