I knew one high priest and his wife, a high priestess of Satan on Facebook (but I never met them in person) who had their own above-ground church (not sure if it was a lone, actual building or just a room or basement in a building) and the HP told me he worked hard for Satan and served him. We lost touch. This was a few years ago.
But my personal opinion, from the amount of knowledge he knew to his personal spiritual practices (through conversing with him) is that he's not as advanced as adept Spiritual Satanists in these groups.
And he seemed unaware of the War going on; that Satan and the Gods of Hell are Extraterrestrials; that there is such a thing as power meditation to open, empower and advance the soul. The farthest he got was awakening his kundalini (I never asked him about that, he just mentioned it to me.)
There are other clergymen and clergywomen of Satan outside of JoS, I saw their profiles on Facebook some years ago, and some of them have their own covens and/or serve a congregation. I don't know if Satan gave them their rank and title. A lot of them, I believe, gave it to themselves. Whether they deserve it or not, if it came with hard work and studying, I don't know.
The moment they found out I was a member of Joy of Satan groups, they all suddenly had a personal vendetta against me. But whatever, their loss, not mine.
I'm just stating what I observed and experienced.
