Anyone tried this without dedication?
And what have been your experiences with these?
How long does it take to show some effect?

Satan gave us this knowledge to better our lifes so I don't think that using this knowledge without really being with Him (Dedicating yourself being the proof to yourself and Him about it) would have any serious power or impact on your goals. Nevertheless you can try but I personally find using Satanic knowledge and being without disgusting, troublesome and simply bad for your health. Remember that you're open to everything before you dedicate, spiritually talking.

Cobra says it well. It's quite contradicting to use the knowledge without being dedicated. It's similar to shooting a gun for the first time without knowing what to do because you think your video game shooting is good enough. Im not sure if that analogy works but it came to mind! Also, do not dedicate to Satan just for the purpose of using spells. You should dedicate because you feel it in your heart, the new come epiphany from finding spiritual Satanism (JOS) makes your whole life make more sense, and because you know the truth (there are tons of valid reasons, too). Your energy won't work doing spells without being dedicated. Dedication will empower the spells and there will be more energy in the spell, so more chance for it to work.

i am not 100% sure as i have not myself dedicated myself yet.  mostly cuz i trying to save up for the stuff needed to do so (i make close to minimum wage).
but
dedicating oneself to him is recommended.  i mean it just outta respect really.
but i do not suppose you have to dedicate first.  although i would make a promise to yourself that if you have not done so yet to do it sometime in the future.
i mean my attention span isn't so good (ADD) but from what i understand things will basically look better for you once you dedicate.
me myself i am reading over stuff on the JOS site over and over until i can memorize what section of it i am trying to understand at the time.  guess you could say i taking it one small step at a time and working my way up that way.
