Interesting video about the (un)reliability of medical tests

I came upon an interesting video explaining a piece of statistic talking about how a medical test that is "highly accurate" can wind up having a low chance of actually getting the correct result e.g. resulting in false positives (and false negatives.) It gives a very good insight into how these Scamdemic number can be easily manipulated, as well as giving a genuinely scientific method of calling those number into question. I highly recommend watching it.

Most of the good stuff is in the first half, but the full watch is still worth it as a curiosity.

It also brings up a very unfortunate question of "how can I ever trust the results of any medical test or screening ever again after watching this" but your guess is as good as mine. Hope you enjoy.
