Ive read that the demons were freed in 2002 using energy work within the clergy of Pythia and other hp. And this has raised a serious question that has bothered me for some time. How does a god get bound by human hands? And why coincidently were the gods freed when the site was published.

They didn't get bound by human hands, as it's been said they lost a spiritual battle against enemy Corrupted Beings and nordics who outnumbered them. And you didn't read that correctly, the Gods were freed in 2003 not 2002. As HP Pythia said before, the freeing process started from December 2002 to March 2003 while the ToZ group and site was first created in April 2002 because a previous Zevist group closed permanently.
