Its supposed to have come from 'the star spangled banner' third verse, "In god is our trust". Supposed to have been placed on paper currency in 1957 in response to communist threats, to reinforce loosely xtian states perception that their religion is capitalist in nature. At least thats what I understand doing a little searching on the web.   In reality the united states isn't suppose to be establishing religion in any government action. Many deny that the phrase is just a phrase and doesn't endorse or promote any religion just a nationistic phrase some bs like that. I am sure atheists aren't happy with that idea. Certainly slmost everyone I know would equate 'god' with something xtian. One could think of it as being Enki or satan, as god is more of a title or a concept not a proper name.

Even if the founding fathers put it there, it doesn't automatically mean the xian "god". Hitler for example talked about "god" this and that in his Mein Kampf but he was deliberately using a different spelling to distinguish his "god" from the xian "god".

I've seen the quote "I'll crush christianity like a poisonous toad under my boot" plenty of times. But I doubt he said anything about that when running for president. And your right he says god but makes not mention of who he is referring to.
Speaking of Thedore Roosevelt, I know the other president with the same last name (fdr) was a jew. I can't see teddy roosevelt being a kike though. He seemed like a very energetic fearless and direct person, jews do not have those traits.
As for "in god we trust" that's on our money, I'm not sure when it first happened, I can't really see the founding fathers doing that. Some jew bankers may have done that later.

I know the all seeing eye in the pyramid on the dollar bill proves that the founders of the states were no xtians but the thing that confuses me is the "In god we trust" inscribed on it. Can anyone explain where that comes from?

Back then, most politicians didn't WANT immigrants to rush in, and take over the United States.....after Jewery took over our government, the immigrants flooded.
