I must share this information as it is my responsibility.Knowledge must be shared.We all have an given name, Magical name, True name.The True name is a very different name and if one knows ones true name Energy will surge throughout ones entire being.A name that Defines Whom one really is and When the Individual Changes the True name Changes a bit.Now Those of you who had experience with Shamans, Psychics, Witches, etc those with power or skilled divination-ist that they always ask firsthand What is your name? <(this is an Example)Then tells Information.Name is Information of you also giving it to the Wrong hands is like giving one Power over you to oneself. It is Logical to Take this Seriously.'Name is an Very Important aspect of you as much as your Birthchart(Birth date, Zodiac Sign etc)Do decisions what to do with your name however as i said name is very important.As Self Reliant People who seek Power to control ones own destiny and Great Spiritual Power.Name is Important and when discovering your true name.Keep it secret and share it with those whom you trust very much. As it is like Giving out All information of oneself to the person. So Choose carefully.If you know your True name i advice not to speak it out loud as there are many entities out there, They might hear it and work against you and bring ill fortune and cause a lot of problems.Keep it in your head and if possible protect your mind. I agree that you name is something to be taken seriously, and not thrown out to anyone who asks it. A lot of information can be found about someone simply by having their name. It is like giving out your adress and asking for people to come rob you.

However there is no such thing as this 'True Name' you're talking about. It certainly isn't anything I've heard of, nor heard anyone mention before this. You have your name, which you may keep to yourself as you wish. And you have a magickal name, which you are free to choose as you wish.

The concept I think you're trying to get at is your True Self. This is the self that you are, who you really are, without all the negative setbacks from past lives, nor planetary diruption. This is the person you really are, and is something one ascends into through the empowering of the Soul. It is on the Soul's level and remains with us throughout lives. Our True Self does not change life to life. We simply must awaken into it by clearing away the dross of those past lives.
At least this is how I have come to understand it.
