Have you read templeofzeus.org? You can talk to Father by visualizing his sigil in his head and just talk to him like he's your friend.

Have you done your dedication? You can talk to him in ritual or in your head, but since your new you probably won't hear anything back at first, plus he's very busy. If you can't hear he may answer you by sending you positive energy.

Start with a meditation program, including opening up your chakras. The point is to further open and empower your soul, calm and quiet your mind and be able to distinguish your thoughts and voice from the voices of the Gods (and of the enemy greys and like) with practice and experience.
