Isn't the essence of Satanism to just be ourselves? Know thyself and be thyself. Were all different and it is truly impossible in my opinion to follow someone else because deep inside we can not agree fully because we are all different, right? We all have our own destiny. We choose. If Satan wants this, what is the fucking point of doing everything he wants us to do!? This site seems to contradict itself. This is probably the last question I will ask on here. It's rather funny how some of those who answer have anger take control and lose it. Hah!

This could be difficult to understand I suppose, but the reason we listen to him and do as he asks of us is because he knows better than any of us what the rights actions we should take to better ourselves are.
He do not slavishly follow his word, and he doesn't ask this of us either and he doesn't demand any kind of sacrifice without something incredible in return. Also he will always show you this his requests of you are the best things you can do and following his word always yields the greatest success, because he knows what is best for us all.
The thing is, most people aren't free to control their own destiny yet, on the contrary, most people without Zeus's guidance would simply waste their life away and then after living a useless existence as a parasite they die and accomplish nothing.
Zeus merely asks of us to listen so he can teach us the ways to step beyond that and become truly incredible and worthwhile beings.
I can tell you now, that while I don't know you, you are currently living quite the useless existence and you aren't doing anything great or substantial with yourself. Hate me for saying this, but it is true.
Zeus is a God who has lived for more than 500.000 years, he has uncovered all mysteries of our universe and the existence of all things. He is literally the emperor of the most technologically, spiritually and in all other ways, most advanced race in the entire universe.
You can call bullshit on that, but whether you believe it or not doesn't change the fact that is true.
He knows what is best for us all and we follow him because he guides us all to a better future. That is not being held captive, but being liberated by a supreme existence that is many millions of times greater than you are.
There is a hierarchy in all things, just like how children listen to their parents when they are young because their parents know what is best for them and for their development, or how people want a strong leader to govern them, someone worthwhile who brings society the values and morals needed for people to have a worthwhile and free existence, we follow Zeus as people part of his empire.
While we do so he teaches us how we become free and in control of our own lives as destiny fully and how we become truly worthwhile beings that can bring greatness to the world around them and to all people around them.
Zeus let's all of us do as we please. If you want to waste your entire life away like a lazy fat bastard that sticks his middle finger up to him, you are free to do so and even though Zeus could easily force himself upon you and forcefully make you obey him, he would never do this because that goes directly against his own ethics. He let's us be free even if how we decide to live is useless and terrible, but he never abandons us and always drops hints for us to help us escape our useless existence and grow into truly worthwhile beings.
So I say with honor, dignity and pride: HAIL SATAN, MY ETERNALKING, I WILL FOLLOW YOU UNTILL THE VERY ENDS OF TIME MY LORD AND FATHER! GLORY AND HONOR BE UPON YOU FOREVER GREAT SHINING ONE!
And there you have it. If that isn't satisfying as an answer for you, then it's honestly your loss.
You should try it for yourself and see how you like it. Just dedicate to Zeus and see if you think you are being treated like an inferior slave, or a person part of a mighty empire that is able to live life mostly as he pleases because his freedom is guaranteed. If you don't like doing anything for Zeus then you can just live your life in laziness anyway, just don't expect Zeus to help you out if you don't do anything for him. As I've told others before. Satan doesn't expect anything from us, now this could be interpreted in the wrong way but let me explain.

If you want to sit around all day watching tv, funny youtube videos, licking a lollipop and wearing a diaper while you gaze into the clouds then by all means freaking do it.
