Obviously do a ritual tell him or her your sorry. If it was a mistake and unintentional he or she probably will be understanding of you but you still should say sorry anyways. If it was intentional though I am not sure. No should ever do that. This is between you and that God in that case.
Extra Ritual is helpful or giving energy to that God if you feel a need to make up for it.
