I'm no expert really but it is almost undoubtedly angels that are causing those bruises. It sounds like you could be getting psychically attacked, like with that cross flying at you. If you are unable to defend against these attacks by yourself then you should probably try asking for Satan's help. Also, if you haven't done it yet, doing a dedication is a good idea.
