If the intention is to be free from all negative energies then no, you will not cut your connection from the Gods.

To better direct the energies, focus on what you want to be free of.

The Gods are very powerful and I don't think they will be limited by few affirmations.
I don't think they don't want to communicate with you, the problem might be that your astral senses aren't well developed at the moment.

As far as I understand, a statement is complemented by intention, meaning that even if you stated that, if it wasn't your intention, nothing happens.
