I need answers (two, to be exact)

Hail Satan:

Firstly I want to address the egroup "moderator". How many times do I have to join this egroup? The fact that I have to join the group EVERY time is stupid, I never see responses to my questions, so on, and so forth. I dedicated over 8 months ago and the same thing has been happening since July.

Lastly I've been doing a lot of research into spiritual satanism and have been wondering, what's the deal with Leveyan Satanism? I only have read little bits and pieces, but there seems to be a group consensus that Leveyan Satanism is bad. I just want a REAL answer instead of someones silly biased opinion. I believe in facts, not feelings, so please give me a straight, fact filled answer.

Hail Satan! as i am not a moderator, i can answer your 2nd question--- leveyan "satanism" is not bad as you put, but it is not what i would call satanism at all, as they do not believe Satan is a real entity. if you don't believe in Satan, how are you a satanist? basically, laveyan is atheist.

LaVeyian Satanism does not exist LaVeyianism does,   Now LaVey mentioned Demons are real Beings[right in the Satanic Bible] and to be respected when contacted as they are their own Beings not some archeytpes. From reading the work of Aquino who was a HP in the CoS in the original days he stated LaVey and the HP all knew Satan was a real Being in private and from real experience. LaVey's refusing to go beyond the archetype claims in public among other issues is what caused the divison and the creation of the ToS.   LaVey knew and admitted Demons are real Beings and LaVey knew Satan is a real Being not an archetype.   LaVey was a Spiritual Satanist in his time in his way.

well I dont know what you mean by your first question.  Regarding Laveyan Satanism, it is not something you should completly believe.  Ive read His satanic bible so I know the facts. Lavey says that Satan is not a actual god, but rather a force or current.  This is obviously not true.. He emphasizes the need for people to fulfill their carnal desires, such as lust, greed, etc. Basically his philosophies are a reaction to Christianity.  This would be a good book if you were an atheist, but since we know the truth, theres no need to follow anything in the Satanic Bible.  Lavey is a smart guy , but whos also ignorant of true spirituality.  Just keep reading joyofsatan.. I have herad this to be true but I cant seem to figure out how can this be so. Even if he didnt go public with knowing Satan was real, then how is he viewed like a archtype in the cos today. Some where along down the line he seen a better opportunity to turn his church into a cash cow and everything was about money.

There is plenty wrong with laveyan and his satanist. Not to mention pushing his beliefs is not allowed here. If you were doing that, this can be the reason you keep getting canned. There are rules here and the rules are for a reason. No one is forced to follow them, just like no one is forced to be in this group. There is a lot of mixed opinions about lavey and we can sit here and speculate all day long on the subject but it's pointless.   Bullet point number one reads on the introduction page for all the e-groups: 1. We know Satan and his Demons are real beings. If you are LaVeyan, or feel otherwise, do not push your beliefs here.

Thank you everyone who answered my questions about laveyism. To clarify, I'm not leveyan, I am a satanist. I never have pushed anything on the eboards, other than my own experiences and questions.
