I have a simple question about "Empty Handed Magick".

Empty handed magick is adept (skillful) magick.  It’s pure, true magick.  It’s done without props or ceremony.  I assume it still embraces both the philosophy and the ritual but not ceremony.  What are a couple of types of ceremony they would be talking about?  What are some of the props they would be talking about?  Can crystals be used for example?  Would that be a prop?

They probably mean performing a ritual beforehand to set yourself up in the correct mood for the work. A skilled mage doesn't need that though. Physical prompts are nothing more than fancy additions in magick, you do not need them. It is the power of your soul that determines the success of your work.
