Yes, of course it does!
When you have relationships of different kinds with other people, most often you establish links to your chakras. In my experience their feelings, thoughts, etc. can affect you and also many people will fight against you to try to prevent you from advancing, this is in the mind of programmed xians/communists/muslims/etc.
The stonger you get, the lesser becomes their mind influence.
