I have a question about my future goals

okay, so i want to not be a bum. main deal. i dont want to end up like the people i see around me. so i have some ideas. one of them is going to the army, which i am second guessing, because i dont think im going have the same amount of free time throughout the day to do my meditation and stuff to advance, so i am second guessing that. the other is earn the rest of my credits through out this year, take some college coures and then take my act or sat, apply for a grant and go to central state. i think the second on sounds way better, i have a week to decide. may i please have someones opinion.
