I have super productive periods in my life, (excercise, meditation, advancement, no bullshit, useful things) and then one day I feel tired and sleepy, I can't think very straight, I start to feel upset about everything and get really annoying and annoyable. I can't and I don't want meditate in this phase, and the environment supports my fall everytime.
My life and personality is pretty much LITERALLY the description of an AIR person, every single one of the elements of the Air person applies to me, and some elements of Fire, but almost none of water or earth. I totally think I need more earth and water, but since I can't really advance due to this problem I don't know what to do, and I don't think elemental invocation would be easy for me.
I discovered how to enter a light trance in my last Good period.
Another thing, at this time I'm feeling the urge of meditating again, but I'm afraid truly of failing again, and again, I feel I'm going in circles with my life in general, doing cycles and cycles.
 
I do have a similar problem, though I have worked on it and it has become lighter over the years. When I'm tired and can't think straight, I simply take a nap and forget about everything else. When I wake up, I wash myself, eat something I like, and go out to breath some fresh air in my garden. Then, I gain a lot of momentum for meditation and I take as much time as I need, usually 15 minutes. So, when you feel stuck, simply take a nap, do things that regenerate you after you wake up, and then meditate. After all of these, you will have motivation for other activities as well. I hope this helps.
 
It's going to be the most obvious advice ever, but just push yourself, no matter how you feel. The more you do it, the easier it's going to get. You will gain momentum and discipline will become a part of you. Nauthiz is a good Rune for discipline. During those days where you feel lazy, remember that doing 5/10 minutes is better than nothing.

Also, when you skip a day, don't get so demoralized that you then skip entire weeks. Get back at it the next day/s like nothing happened. Start with the momentum again, be positive and understand that skipping one day (or two) only sets you back so much, while skipping weeks is something that you really want to avoid. You will keep making progress even if you skip a day here and there is what I'm also trying to say. Maybe it will look something like this: perfect for 25 days straight, then you skip one, 40 days, then you skip one, 80 days then you skip one, and finally you will always be consistent and it will be just a habit for you.

You're now talking with a guy which has most of his planets in an Air sing, I am not gonna go into details about my personal details obviously but I have some good information for yourself.

First and most important before jumping into other things I want to share the most 'important' aspects of what I am about to say. Although it's been some writing as you can still see by reading this , maybe I am being friendly or a jerk or both.

Some advices and sharing's for you, consider this your lucky day, everyone's lucky day as this information is quite crucial and very helpful and I am not saying this to blabla or whatever, I am very happy to help , as the God's themselves helped me, I feel this pure and deep desire to share some of their Grace , in all of you Brothers and Sisters.

Advices:
- Always remember , no matter what happens or what do you , fails ,breakdowns , obstacle's , limitations , things, the universe , things will always happens and the concept of "failure" is inevitable , as Saturn is the most important planet in astrology , and this is with a reason as Saturn rules the reason in itself.
So don't even think about failure, that will occur but do not let that be a excuse while you can grow as powerful as the Sun and become what we are supposed to be come, our Higher and most developed Self. Pain will also arrive in the process of transformation but do not let this scare you either , this is a normal process , focus on what truly matter.
- You said you are and your life is defined by the air element but have you also check that in your astrology natal chart? Do your chart, find more about yourself and your own path , this is the highest form ever to truly discover who you are and what to become, what are your best talents and powers and your weaknesses also.
- Note somewhere your experiences of how you truly felt when you were meditating and how life was back then, did you had more then what you currently have? And by this I mean to more things then just material such as your own wellbeing in the first place.
-Find a factor , a reason , something to motivate you and mostly to keep pushing towards what you want, but sometimes we don't really know what we want and that's okay but then think rational and logical although we speak about spiritual stuff one should always remember that mind is important as well and void meditation is a good way of controlling our own minds , from many personal experiences and a lot of studying from many practices and exercises and void meditation give me best results in obtaining more vivid and lucid dreams and not just this but many many other advantages even if we do share some let's say information's about our own experiences we wouldn't be truly able to fully understand and even believe some of them.


I will end this message with a following true story and I will do my best from now on to be more active and help and together we get stronger , it's good to have a EGO and truly believe something , deeply but we should also relax and breath and listen to each other and truly listen not just pretending to or just 10% giving effort to understand some things due to some reason as One might had some traumas or thinks he knows all and had been trough all possible shit, this kind of person are just fated to fail more then everyone else , remember that success means to fail 9 times but stand back up 10 times same goes for everything else not just meditating.

Myself honestly personally I am some trough shit and bad things as well but we gotta wake up and remember what was once important and still is and we know this deep within no matter of how many excuses we gonna give for our incapability to meditate on that moment or every day beein the case.

One should also remember that if you do decide to meditate for a long term with constant effort , daily , no fucking around and stuff and then you all of the sudden quit and turn into more even toxic habits then of which you already had or have or new ones and so on ,because the soul itself will try to make some kind of artificial effect of what true power means and to this I refer to one's capacity to absorb and use the energy, anyways. So what are you feeling is normal although you said that you're experienced a sudden change of mod and mentality and this can be due many reasons: As the one I've just said , enemies, other entities , bad energies around and also sometimes ourselves can be actually our biggest enemies in most cases.

Be blessed , never lose faith and believe in the God's and mostly and not lastly in YOURSELF. If you lose fait in yourself then you stand to lose nearly and most definitely probably everything.
 
I have the same problem as you. (But I got over it and it's much better.)
I read on the Jos site that this is an indication that your progress and meditation are working well.
You just need a little more motivation to get rid of fatigue and boredom and continue your meditation and work with more energy and motivation.
you can use runes that work to connect energy and disturbed thoughts. (I did this too and it helped me a lot).
And my other advice is to just start. Just do it even if it's less than 15 minutes. You will get better with time, I promise you that.
Oh I read this too in the Satanic Rosary section. It might help you:
Skipping a day will set you back at day one. No days can be skipped. There is this thing called "karma" as most of you know. This shit is ruled by the planet Saturn and the only way to defeat it is to know it and work to overcome it. Karma will give you a beat down and keep you beat down unless you are aware of it and are strong and persistent enough to fight against it and overcome it. This is not for the weak. Persistence, patience and hard work are required here. Words like persistence and consistency is the key, by Maxine Dietrich is emphasised all over the place not of vain reasons but because it had brought her to the heights where she was able to create Joy Of Satan and hope for humanity.

Sit and meditate doesn’t demands you lifting physical weights, walking up mountain and extra miles by your physical legs.

You need to be interested in doing it and motivated.

You can try and see on those bad days, when you still would manage to meditate, to analyse how you feel after meditation? Did it made you feel better after doing meditaion routine on a bad day?

You can show yourself this way if it helps you to manage your “bad” days(by trying to do meditation even trough it) or not, no better teacher than experience yes?

You have to push it trough and as WiseDragon said it very right way and it will change in time.

Feeling tired? Meditate rise the energy and it will become better.

This has to be overcome sooner or later, if it looks too hard, atleast keep this in mind and try to do atleast somewhat small steps towards.

also keep in check what do you eat, a lot of food like junk food, fast food and etc., makes us feel sleepy, lethargic and lazy.

Not exercising like sports and workout also sums up to this, not necessarily every day, but at very least in last case few days a week it would help you in feeling better after establishing this as permanent routine if you are not doing it yet.

In addition HPS Lydia wrote in one of her topics when one is tired is good to do at least small workout/exercise and will get energy boost, this is 100% true.

And above all studying JoS material which is endless, it is motivation on it’s own, we need to expand understanding upon subject to be more straight why we do it, why we do it every day and etc.,

this combined with experience will give you purpose of doing so, real organic motivation and more thinking methods of approaching this insanely important thing.

Had some problems like yours @Carvik ! The idea is to never give up and never lose faith in the Gods.

Focus on the Drive and power that you have. For example, you can check your elements to see if you have an imbalance in fire. If you, however, have good balance in fire, try to find more fire element-oriented sports, such as running or dancing.

It is both relaxing and will stimulate a somewhat weak fire, and increase the Drive and passion for life.

I also listen to a lot of motivational podcasts whenever I feel down on my meditation routine, and, besides that, after receiving the courage the Gods offer to me, I simply wish to continue more.

Hope it will help and, @Carvik bro, if there isn't anything really harmful, don't stress about only one or two unproductive days. You get back to being productive the following days and so on and so forth

It is more useful to lay or strengthen a foundation when the situation is that a person can not keep a simple habit up. Intermediate practices, such as planetary squares are built upon a firm layer which should be actively worked upon to begin with. Failing to do so is like building a structure without a foundation on the sand--the progress does not last.

Using your words, I would propose: One of the pieces of advice I give is that if you really only have to do one meditation, do the more basic ones, like breathing exercises and cleaning meditations along with an aura of protection meditation.

These are much more fruitful when they are being done over a period of time compared to a square done by a person who is not truly ready for it and they do not need to take much time to do. For example, using five minutes for each of these takes fifteen minutes and that is that. A habit is being built. Habit-making is very important for people with problems with keeping up a routine.

To take the above a step further, a person with such a challenge could pinpoint their issue with specific energy work along with habit building with the goal of diminishing and ultimately eliminating the issue altogether! This should be the goal, above all.

Feeling a lack of achievement, feeling low motivation and vitality, and feeling fear pertaining to failing are all solar related problems, as far as my perception goes. Discipline will help prevent this, but so will proper motivation from the solar aspect of us.

In reality, you are advancing, despite that it may not feel like it. However, to strengthen this, you can use solar or earth runes, like Sowilo and Nauthiz, to break yourself out of bad days/feelings. In those instances, you should probably clean your lower chakras well, too. Use these runes on a short-term basis to garner immediate productivity, but you can also do them in the form of a 40 day working.

Additionally, do the rituals of masculine Gods, like Baalzebul, who can help you develop a more stable and stronger form of motivation. As these rituals can be benefit us even in a single amount, this is way to build yourself without fears of regressing or going in circles.
