Huge spider on the wall

I just recalled this it happened to me once, i dont know if there is an explanation , after waking up i saw a very very very VERY huge black spider in the wall and it was moving, i run out of the room just to get ready ( since i was laying down) and entred fast in the room again to kill it and i found nothing it instantly vanished , is there an explanation for that?

It happened to me another time while i was doing a breath tzchnique and i slept directly after finishing the technique and when waking up i saw my brother standing in front of me i told him oh you scared me , he kept smiling, didnt move didnt talk, stayed standing few seconds while im gazing at him trying to understand whats happening and then he started fading bit by bit until he disappeared ,when i called him he was in his room so what i saw wasnt him

Is there an explanation for those kind of experiences?

They seem to be delays in dream projection.

It is usually experienced with body paralysis. The brain/mind has a projection delay in the sleep-wake phase and projects visions of other “dimensions” while almost completely awake.

Sometimes they can be induced by spontaneous astral travel, giving the sensation of being “awake.”
