•Increased attention span for intense focus, concentration and patience for meditations and magical workings
•Work harder and become more determined

You can focus on Satan's sigil and talk to him. Or whatever personal way you have of communicating. Building a strong relationship with Satan is important. So talk to him often. Sometimes I just say thank you. :p

I must say, and I'm sure and others will testify, when we ask questions watever they may be, we always get answers, patience and openness are KEY. As for your parents, if making them accept your decision is something you value a lot or can be open & honest about it to Satan, like are you in danger? Are you uncomfortable with them? I find these things can be addressed to Satan in a ritual, problems, worries, he can always provide a solution as long as your honest. You could do a spell using runes to make them accept and be more open to your sexual orientation.
