With the number of replies about how to react when the witlesses show up at your door, I thought I might expose how they work. I was one of them, but no longer sympathize with the religion and have not participated in anything since 2005. First, the basic doctrine. They preach that there is going to soon be a judgment day, and anyone found active in their cult is going to be spared when everyone else is supposedly going to be destroyed. This date was supposed to be, originally, 1874. They have pushed back the date when the predictions have failed, and are now tying it to the generation that the nazarene was supposedly talking about in "This generation will by no means pass away". Now, "This generation" refers to those whose lives intersect with those who saw 1914 (when I was in, it was those who saw 1914 themselves). This is pure bullshit. Their hopes are split. One person suggested inquiring what happens if they are replaced in that heavenly hope. This is not an issue among the witlesses. You see, only 144,000 are supposed to go to heaven and it's their jew-hova that decides who makes up that number. Everyone else gets to live forever on the earth in "perfect" health. This includes getting resurrected if you die--the kikes that were supposed to have been around before 33 CE, and those who joined after the anointed are sealed or were not selected to go to heaven. Anyone surviving Armageddon or dying faithful, and is not "anointed" for heaven, is said to have the earthly hope. Now, here's the catch. To receive this earthly hope, you are supposed to obey a group of men they call the Faithful and Discreet Slave. I call them the Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. They make the rules, and claim to have the monopoly on abiding by the LIE[/B]-ble. They do a piss poor job at even abiding by the LIE[/B]-ble, with their rule of even if you can prove a doctrine wrong using their own LIE[/B]-ble, you still abide by and teach the bad doctrine until they themselves fix it. How's that[/B] for using your mind? Would anyone really want to live forever like that? So, what happens if you fall for their lies? First, they shove a book in your face. This is supposed to help you understand the LIE[/B]-ble. They give you the ground rules in that book, and you will soon be invited to attend their meetings. They do not call it a church, but it's the same thing. You are introduced to the congregation, and there is no collection plate (there is a contribution box, however). As your study progresses, you are asked to start complying with the rules in your book. You will probably have to renounce other religions, throw away many things of high sentimental value (one reason I am slow to judge someone wearing a cross--that cross could have non-religious sentimental value), and join their "school(??)". This "school(??)" is supposed to be to refine your preaching skills. Notably, only men are allowed to speak from the platform. Women have to practice skits in pairs. After a time, they decide whether you are ready for "field service". I call it "field circus". If you are meeting the basic qualifications, you are invited to go thumping the LIE[/B]-ble. Usually, they will make your first day relatively easy, but they want to push people to start wasting 10 hours a month or more doing this. Next, you are asked questions. These questions assess whether you are indoctrinated, and are asked in 4-5 different sessions. At this point, you are supposed to be assured that only material that comes from within is valid, and outside material that is critical of the religion is bad. This is why they are so hard to reason with. They know that, once they are baptized and break one of those rules, they can be disfellowshipped. This means being cut off from friends and family. One of the things they harp on is that everyone outside is evil, so they dump outside friends. This keeps them dependent on the organization. Many get jobs working for other witlesses, or have apartments with witless landlords. If they get disfellowshipped, they are going to have to look for another job and/or apartment. Usually, they lack savings. This scares them and prevents many from reasoning outside their religion. Some of their rules include no fornication (and they make a whopper of a deal about this), no nationalism, no celebrating holidays or birthdays aside their REJECT Astaroth Party around "Easter", no spiritism (rendering them defenseless against any black magick performed against them), no joining the military, no gambling (not even a scratch-off), and no questioning their Filthful and Disgraceful Slavebugger. They take extreme measures to prevent these "infractions". To take the fornication rule, they proscribe masturbation and watching porn with sanctions that include losing, for them, the only opportunity to make something for themselves. They also have multiple rules regarding conduct with the opposite sex, including flirting. Their dress codes are strict--while at their function, it is strict suit dress-up and the dresses have to be quite frumpy. They even look down on spending time alone with the opposite sex, and dating to marry must be done with chaperones even among grown up adults (even if they are in their 80s). Now, once they are baptized, they are expected to be regular in preaching. Reports are taken monthly on each person, and if they notice a significant drop in hours, they start questioning everything. They are hounded to do something they call "pioneering" (I call it "pious-sneering" because most of them do it with a self-righteous attitude). This involves committing to a minimum number of hours a month of wasted time (currently, the auxiliary level requires 50 hours. The regular level requires 840 hours during the year or 70 a month. Special pious-sneers, who get a stipend, are required to get 130 hours a month. If they do not make these requirements, they are chewed out. Anyone skipping a month is "irregular" and usually receives hounding calls to make sure they do not reach the next level "inactive". An inactive person is no reported time within the past 6 months. The pressure on the individual to go out and thump the LIE[/B]-ble is trememdous, since they are threatened that Jew-Hovah is watching them and, if he feels they could do more, they will be destroyed at Armageddon. One topic that has come and gone, and is coming more, is education. Witlesses are not supposed to attend secondary education because they are supposed to pious-sneer instead. For a time in the mid 1990s, they eased up a bit on that, so those who attended college from home were still not penalized. However, in the past 5 years, they have come down on it. Parents allowing their children to attend college are penalized, usually by nicking their "privileges". This might be fine and good if you count the cost and do not want to be in debt to the kikes for the next 30 years. However, nicking "privileges" and threatening people with destruction is not the balanced view on college. Given that the kikes control so much of the financial system, college is a practical necessity unless you already have your own business or are ready to invest the tuition in silver and wait for the silver price to go way up. Related is retirement. In the witless religion, there is no such thing. Even vacations are forbidden. You might get a vacation or retire from "secular" work, but you are still supposed to do things for Jew-hova. This means finding your meeting place in the area you are visiting, and participating in their field circus. This is not my idea of a fun vacation by any means. As for retirement, you are not supposed to save up for it. Rather, you are to trust in jew-hova. With the number of destitute seniors in that religion, this trust is blatantly misplaced. They control everything for you, including your thinking. You are not supposed to develop your root--moving around because of instability in your work, missionary work, and getting placed "where the need is greater" is not good for your root chakra. Your sacral chakra is held in check with no sex outside marriage and regulations (enforced with "privileges") on sex within a marriage. The solar chakra is prevented from growing with their no-materialism rule. And, the upper chakras are held down. The heart chakra is held down with their "agape love" bullshit. The throat chakra is held down with rules against questioning anything and "Our voices are for praising Jew-hova". Obviously, the 6th and 7th chakras, and the third eye, are held down with their stupid fear of Satan. Needless to say, damnation is the end result. And yes, I have seen quite a few of Jew-hova's Witlesses with that stupid fake-happy look. They might always be smiling, but are ready to snap when you disagree on some trivial matter. Those are often the ones that become hounders, assistant hounders (these are the ones that do the work in maintaining the congregations), and pious-sneers. Those are classified as "privileges" by those inside, and are the only way anyone can distinguish themselves from each other or have any sense of pride. I can attest to the ruined childhoods within that fucking religion. One boy, then 8, was dragged out in field circus. His mother pious-sneered in April (when they had their REJECT Astaroth Party that year). I was new out then, and I went out every afternoon the week the children were home from school. Every goddamn day, this boy was out in field circus with his mother, and got plenty of spankings for doing things boys do. He would be out until after 4 PM after having been out all morning, instead of having any fun during his school recess. Every fucking day! And for what? Yes, this shit is quite normal within that religion--forcing children to piss away vacations so their parents can pious-sneer during their month of the REJECT Astaroth Party and surrounding months. Needless to say, I do not recommend this religion for anyone (except the kikes that started it, and its parents, in the first place). They talk about being spiritually strong--all I got from that was an even worse angel problem than I entered it with and lost opportunities for everything (and yes, I did my horoscope with Maxine, and yes the horoscope confirms that I have a major angel problem, to the point where even communicating with Father Satan is damn nearly impossible, let alone receiving any answers or being assured that any rituals remain accurate from source to destination without being fucked up by those damn angels). If I wasn't already spiritually dead from those angels before becoming one of Jew-hova's Witlesses, I sure was once I became one. And I didn't even know it then--at least now I know what is the problem is, whether I can get it solved or whether the angels refuse to budge even for Father Satan. Fuck you, Jew-hova.
