I do your exact same method and it works for me. You can add an affirmation where you state that yout tarot deck is now completely cleansed anf free from all the energies it absorbed before. Do all this imagining your deck surrounded by white/golden light.

Clean them visualizing a golden light should be enough.

If you want to vibrate something as "Surya", for privacy, you could just sigh it while visualizing the golden light on your deck.
