Help with my 3rd eye

Hey ii have been doing the flame meditation and im seeing like reddish
to purple colors when ii concentrate on the imprint of the flame. Does
this mean that my 3rd eye is almost open?

What your seeing is probably auras, or you have weird eyes, let's jsut hope it's not the latter of the two, but anyway's yes seeing auras is always a good sign when opening the third eye

Your third eye is already open but not fully. You are simply directing
your mind and your eye to direct psychic energy.
