I've been into consistent weight lifting for 4 years and I was wondering if it has any spiritual benefits, other than the physical ones
I wrote years ago on the old Yahoo forums about how Father Satan tested me at the end of a nonstop 4 mile run and commanded that I do an extra mile, even I felt as though was seconds from passing out when he asked me this.
When I was finished my wings were in full bloom and a desperately wanted to mess the the treadmills in the gym and cause them to short circuit with my powers. I immediately sped walk to the yoga mats on the gym and last about 5 minutes before I was forced to stop as the energy was gone to know me unconscious. The electricity was causing my muscles to lock up and I was starting to see white which means if I kept pushing I would have had a seizure. I desperately and grumpily held back my telekinesis as I was in a public gym.
I've done this before unintentionally when I was new after 2 hours straight of breathing exercises, and was forced to program my aura to not interfere with electrical equipment as I would be pissed if I fried my computer circuits, but I switched over to working out and yoga as my main means of maintaining a high energy level since you have the benefit of staying in shape as well.
True power is balance. Endurance, speed, power, and flexibility should be maintained in balance for elite energy flow. As a general rule you should do yoga for half the amount of time that you spend lifting or you will eventually develope problems, inflammatory issues, joint problems, tight muscles which can lead to pulled or torn muscles.
If you can invest in a powerful massage gun, deep tissue massages, and if your issues are really bad find a good acupuncturist and remember to eat at least a small meal before your session. I once went to see an acupuncturist for pain in my feet as after years of pushing my body to the limits, running, sprinting, lifting, there is always something hurting, and I went on an empty stomach, which I was never told not to do this. My acupuncturist gave me a little buzzer if it got too intense which I never expected to ring, but not even 10 minutes later I was on the verge of having a seizure and had to call her in. It's the most healing, but it is pricey so it is best to avoid by practicing as much yoga as possible and even taking days of from lifting and having a rest day when you just do light cardio and yoga.
Most people neglect stretching their hands and toes going both forward and backwards. If you run a lot and go heavy on calf raises this will prevent plantar fascitis. Injury prevention is the most important matter when training to the extreme since you will only going 2 steps back if you don't.
Consistency is the key.
