In doing some research for a novel I want to write, I have been delving into two books that deal with "angels" of all variety. In doing so, it is so obvious that the "fallen" angels--demons really--are the ones who have both power and knowledge. You almost never come across any of the "good Christian angels" who do anything but carry out "duties" for Yahweh. They also bring sickness and destruction. Yet with the demons it's always "this demon teaches geometry and etc., is a mighty duke in hell, and commands 40 legions of spirits"--even the "demons" that Jewish writers have written about, they KNOW these demons are not evil but yet they call them that...but I know which "angels" (demons) I would bet my money on as being human-friendly...
