In Western medicine Ginkgo is known for its help in the ability to remember things (lessened brain function, as well as some other problems that involve the nerve system, like depression, fear), and also for the veins (blood) circulation (improves it). It is said to help problems that come with old age.

Very short I know, but I hope this was useful.

But truthenki, remember that it IS a medicin. Unless you have problems that the herb can assist with I don't think that there'd be a plus in taking it.

Now if it is just a tea for once (in example) it is fine, but you shouldn't be taking it if you don't need it.

That being said, some people have the thought of 'oh this person has excema lets prescribe a cream with Calendula officinalis' without even really listening to the problem or asking if they tried anything else before and if there are other problems which might cause that as a side-effect.
That is fine though for a shop assistant, but not so much if you want to make it your work.

Above all use common sense :).

I also want to ask about the magnesium chloride, I read that helps the cells detox and helps the kidney,And with that said taking it with ginkgo, be helpful on the body? Meaning thy would counter each other but help detox all around?
Hope understandable what I am asking.ThanksHail father SatanHail mother LilithHail all the Deitie gods/goddess

Taol, u know more then me. Even if I read in on it, witch I do, still an SS insight is important to understand what I want from it.Example the ginkgo in what u said give me the info I was looking for it, so thank you. But you said tea version is okay to take if understand right at moment.
So thanks for the.

yes, you have herbs in pills, tea, tincture (herb on alcohol.. the dose varies from 15-25 drops in a glass of water 3 times a day to for certain people 5 drops in a glass of water 3 times a day is more than enough). Some herbs are put on oil, in example for massages.
Some herbs are unsuited for tea since they are toxic (like taxus .... which they pump an isolated form of the toxic into people's body as a cancer treatment wtf)

There are quite a lot of different ways to apply them, not every way is suited for every herb, as some work better in water and some better in a different way.

I don't know that much about magnesium supplements sorry, but it seems like you'd want it as an overall detox? I can see that using some herbs could cause some detoxification process on the area they work on, however there are better herbs known for detoxing.
Magnesium is however important for a lot of functions in the body, one that has to do with stress, so I understand a bit why they'd put that together.
I don't think they'd counter each other, because if it would it'd lessen how well the ginkgo works. (Plus I don't think magnesium is a mineral that can disturb a lot of processes these days since it is more common to lack it than to have enough of it).

Is there anything else said on what you are looking for?
Also if you don't mind me asking, why are you looking into this?

The ginkgo has to do more of some damage I had before in the past. Do to when I did a few drugs and such, of course was many years ago now so don't know if needed now or just medation more and just take the magnesium.

Magnesium I would take the l threonate but to expansive for me. So was looking at other ones sense I don't get enough of it.
The chlorid from what I read said was good for kidney and detox of cells and skin, and helps the metabolism. But thinking of that or just the glycinate.

I may be over looking something that I can do my self personally.

Thank you though for respond too and giving me lots of info.

You can use your intuition on a herb too.

It could help to see the plant and know 'hey I need that' or perhaps a name or.. Maybe you walk in a herb store or herbal tea store or ... (well you get the idea) and just let it guide you when you ask yourself 'what do I need right now to heal this past damage that I took?'

Sometimes you might find something surprising. Anyway I guess it is worth a try.

Good luck!

Far superior to an under developed intuition is asking Demons for help on herbs as well..
They will point you in the right direction and you are likely to learn something very valuable in the process.
