general questions

[cominfindme]

i grew up in a southern baptist home with the "word of god" pounded into my head daily. even as a child i found that it was very hard for me to believe in this god that does nothing but cause anguish and despair for the very people who devote their lives to him. it was a main point in the bible that god is vengeful and cruel so as to teat your faith, that if he was all knowing as portrayed he would already know. i was hoping to get insight to the real face of satanism and not the horrifying portrayal the christians want you to see. please anyone who can help me learn more i would very much appreciate it
