Visuals are from the Witches Tarot Deck, which is recommended by multiple members. This post has a collection of 30 decks recommended by forum participants; unfortunately, pictures no longer load. I might make a better list in the future.

Another title could be scarcity mindset versus abundance mindset. Both men, with their lush green attire and gold, are wealthy. Despite their similar thickness of wallet, their lives and attitudes towards life are strikingly different.

Look at the elderly man of Four of Pentacles. Look at his eyes. His body language. His facial expression. He is saying ''You want my penny, I know! Everybody wants my penny! You won't get it. I will guard it until I die and will not part with a single penny.'' He will guard them at the cost of losing all of his ability to move. He cannot open his arms. He cannot stand up. He is sulking alone as he believes everyone is after his gold and has drawn away all his family and friends. This is a man who is not able to enjoy what he owns.

You may know people like this in real life. Money is not a means to attain other things but it is the end goal itself to them. Take them on a vacation and they will spend the whole vacation complaining about how expensive everything is instead of enjoying those things. They will not even go to the hospital, thinking everyone, including doctors, is a con artist, and after their money. Now, you need to be balanced about these things. Yes, there are con artists out there and corrupted doctors. Every profession has bad people.

From Lady Maxine:
''I nearly died in childbirth with my daughter. If I hadn't been in a hospital, both of us would have died. ... Using common sense is not about being paranoid.''

Think of the Four of Pentacles guy as a man who not only does not go to the hospital himself, but believes his wife's purpose for wanting to go to a hospital is wasting his money. Gold under his feet and hands became his shackles. Cannot connect to his family and friends, cannot open his arms for an embrace. He can't even relax and look around because he has to watch the thief trying to take his gold. He has a hoarding behaviour born of a scarcity mindset.

If you draw this card for yourself, you will think, ''No! This is not me. I'm not rich. I'm the opposite; I still need more money. Lack of money makes me shackled.'' Sorry to break it to you, but this is the thoughts of the Four of Pentacles guy. Regardless of how little you have, this card means that you cannot enjoy what you own. In fact, you are not aware of how much you own. Never feeling safe and secure. Always anxious and in fear of losing. He cannot let go, clings too hard. Mostly money, but it can be relationships or anything you hold onto too hard.

In the core, Four of Pentacles is the concept of hoarding and not understanding that sometimes you need to give away, give back, just give. If it is your boss, it means that you are not getting a generous raise. If it is a business partner, they do not understand that the business needs to be profitable for both sides of the agreement, will rip you off if possible. They don't understand exchanges, why they can't always receive. Why would they need to give away something? Giving = bad, right? This is obesity. They eat and instead of spending the energy, they store it. Take, take, take, hoard, hoard, hoard.

Reversed Four of Pentacles may represent the loss of the coins he was holding. An unwilling one, such as a fine or fraud.

Anyhow, this is not an entirely bad card to see. Beautiful and prosperous home behind him, gold in his hands. Disciplined, able to save, and knows how to profit from a business. Not outright evil. The person has a half-wrong opinion. For example, ''I will save this now so when I'm old I will be comfortable, and I can leave a great inheritance.'' This is great, but this person is living in misery now for an uncertain future, and makes his children resent him now for ignoring immediate needs and every once in a while treats. Future anxiety and fear of the possibility of scarcity.

Six of Pentacles guy is happy. He has an abundance mentality. The receivers are happy because they receive something, the giver is happy because he is wealthy enough to give. Different from the other guy, he is assured and feels secure. He can spend now and he will have even more in the future. He is sure of his ability. When he needs it, he can make more money. Four of Pentacles thinks people want his money, 6 of Pentacles thinks he is investing and helping. He is a benefactor. He will raise funds for charity. He will build schools and hospitals, fund them, not for profit but for the community. If everyone is more educated and healthier, he will be content. If he can't build a school, he will give scholarships to students. If he is not rich enough to give scholarships, he will treat them a meal when he can. If he can't do that, he will share his own meal. Everything he owns will bring more abundance for more people.

You will love him as a boss. A factory owner I know gifted his blue-collar worker a year of rent as a wedding gift. In a business agreement, he will not try to tear the other person apart, he will try to make everything profitable for both parties so his partners will be willing to work with him again every time. His family is sustained by him excellently. Both their needs and whims are met. This card, unlike the other card, is not stagnant. It is affluent. The person represented by the card is someone who manages financial matters very well even though they enjoy giving. They live within their means. The money they can provide is sufficient to make their family live comfortably with peace of mind. Even when not wealthy, they will be provided for.

If you are in a financially difficult situation, this card means that your problems will be solved. If you are in a financially good situation, you should be generous. Even if you are in a financially difficult situation, seeing this card is a sign to donate.

When it is reversed, 6 of Pentacles is not a generous benefactor but someone arrogant. He donates with the expectation of compensation (compensation may be him showing off his money, or favors of various kinds) and otherwise is stingy. He belittles the poor. Reversed Six of Pentacles is a situation where liquidity is lost. Their investments do not pay back, so they can't pay back their debts, etc. When it is not about money, Reversed Six of Pentacles is still about not being able to share, for instance, valuable knowledge.

In 2024 December, I made a tarot reading for my future in 2025. It was 6 of Pentacles. I took it as a good sign and did not think much about it. 1 month later, in January 2025, I created a Hall of Osiris account. Now I can see the future that the card was about is the Hall of Osiris. I'm still a little sad because I missed the first Yule Raffle. If I had interpreted it better, I would not missed it. So I'm writing this to tell everyone: Go over your recent readings once more or take the initiative to ask your GD if they want you to join the Hall of Osiris.

My anxious brothers and sisters, have less future anxiety and more fear of missing out. In this case, you should have FOMO. :)

If anyone wants to add something about these cards or correct something, you are welcome!

Beautiful post, Sister. You certainly bring the cards to life. I know not what you do, but Tarot seems like it could serve as a very good supplementary income for you too, I'm sure whoever you do readings for would enjoy listening to you.

Good day to you.
