Greetings, during a server update system wide of Temple of Zeus sites, we unfortunately lost a day of posts from the forum (SG Apollo Above managed to reinstate a most recent backup + upgraded infrastructure). Posts and replies made since a day ago unfortunately have been lost in full and must be resubmitted.

I don´t know if other people also have this bug, when I try reaching the forums by writing the normal link: www.ancient-forums.com in my browser, I get

SSL handshake failed Error code 525​

But when I try with https://ancient-forums.com/ , then it works normal. Just wanted to report it.

In light of the access issues, it would be greatly appreciated if an announcement could be shared before future updates. Additionally, could you please clarify why a manual backup was not taken prior to the update? Is the process limited to automated daily backups?

Yes, I have the same problem when using that link. When adding “www.” in front, the error occurs.

There are much worse reasons the Ancient Forums could be down, so I am thankful that it was only this that was the case!
