flame meditation

I did flame meditation for the first time last night and was just wondering, what is it supposed to achieve? Also, I had three candles lit but was only focusing on one of them, and that one started flickering hardcore, but nothing happened with the other two. Is that anything special? I've never had that happen with a candle before... any ideas?

its just supposed to help your focus your paying attention so you dont get sidetracked to you can remain fixated on things it really does help overtime
