There can be times in our lives where we sometimes, for an array of reasons, we can tend to lose track of the Spiritual Path. This can happen seemingly on it's own or due to our own reasons, such as complacency or boredom. When this happens, one must learn to take notice of it and learn to reverse their course immediately.
It's very important to understand that when one invests in spirituality, they are actually investing on the core being in themselves. Spirituality is what nobody can take away from you and it can help you in all areas of your life, both in the positive areas but also in countering the negative events of life. People who are not spiritually developed, can face very negative events from a position of powerlessness. This powerlessness has a huge price to pay, which can be counted on in health, personal damages, downfall, or even their sanity.
When one is spiritually inclined and they follow through the path, they do not go through life like the regular folk does. The regular folk is trapped in the usual cycle of life, which most of the time just leads to definite ends and no growth, despite of what "path" each of them take. No spirit is evolved through what they do; they end up the whole script of life in the same square where they started.
Direction, protection, power to achieve and maintain is stronger for the adherent and strong Zevist than the average person by a huge margin. Life becomes a mission, all the way transforms from being just a menial operation. Those who do not have this on their life, cannot fathom what it could do when it comes to facing life, to have the Gods and spirituality in it.
There are people, events, distractions, bad habits and a million things that can dissuade you from your spiritual path. Meditation and engagement in this, is essentially the ultimate "Me" time, the place where you put your very soul at the center and engage in the deepest part of your inner self. You connect to your inner self and allow the higher energies and forces to come in. That's the ultimate level of being and existing. Other things have their place, but nothing can come close to this when it comes to the human existential experience.
The more one disconnects, the more they will notice they might tend to underperform in quite a few areas. This is the normal consequence of weakness taking hold. One is essentially allowing their internal core of power to drift away and this cannot end well.
It's true that the responsibilities of life and what we can be distracted by (or choose to be distracted by) never ends. But we eventually "end" and have to "start over again". The fact of life must be appreciated in all levels and spirituality. Yet, what is truly without an end, is the spiritual journey and when we put our time there, we only win and win in the deeper development of our inner self.
The window is here, in this life, and right now. If one has this opportunity, it must be seized with joy every single day. If you fell off the path, seize the opportunity now without double thoughts, directly and by realizing it's importance.
Then, here you go, you are again on the path which you were blessed to be in. Maintain this path and win.
