Does anyone else find it easier to meditate without a shirt/clothing kept light? I find that I can feel energy a lot better without a shirt on.

I tend to meditate without a shirt. Though this is mainly because I have just worked out and usually sleep afterward. So I am hot and getting ready for bed.
But I do feel more comfortable and relaxed without a shirt on. I don't think it makes a difference though. Just personal preference really.

Yes, what you're saying makes sense. At first i though it was just my impression, but i found that without clothes i could feel the energies better. It seemed easier to feel them.

What i later found out is that the clothes get saturated with your energies. So the clothes that you wear regularly feel more natural and in tune with your energies. This helps to get a feeling easier.

When I'm experimenting with energies, or trying a new meditation it usually helps me to do it barechested.

Hope this makes sense.

Hail Father Satan

Personally, I've done mine clothed, nude, in my underwear, wrapped up in a snuggy and for me (so far) it has made no difference. For me (more often than not) my emotional state right before beginning has the largest impact. For example, if I'm calm and in a good mood, the energy will feel as though I could stick a lightbulb in my mouth & it would light. However, if I'm in a raunchy mood, mad at whatever situation, I have a much more difficult time feeling anything at all. Hail Satan!

I like to meditatie without a shirt and if its cold under a thin sheet. I stress thin as it gets hot quick under that sheet even if its 50 in the room.

I have found shirts that are a little small on me can be subconsciously restricting of airflow insomuch as I don't take a full, even, uninhibited breath.

Yes actually, when I sense energy, I can feel it on my Aura/Skin, and based on how intense it is I can determine how far away it is. Heavier clothes are just a heavier distraction for me when trying to sense energy. It's easy to get past, though.
