Other fear of living

AvatarAsk Zeus Operator1 min to read

Hello sisters and brothers, this is a complicated subject for me. I've read on Toz about Living Your Life: The Sacred Game of Existence, and in a way, I don't want to live. I spend the whole day locked away; I simply don't want to go out. I don't like talking to people. I spend my days trying to focus on spiritual and material matters. I've closed myself off to love because I believe it's a waste of time, which I truly believe it is. Besides not wanting to suffer the same things or have disappointments, I hold a lot of resentment and anger, which gives me constant headaches. I'm already working on that. I dream of traveling to another country, but I think about the thousand bad things that could happen, like disappearing, being trafficked, etc. I'm also afraid of being judged, mocked, ridiculed—in short, afraid to live.

Hello sibling,

The very nature of the magnum opus is the union of the physical body to the spiritual consciousness. Therefore, strategic participation in the physical life and the material plane is not an option. To create a good, prosperous life before you make the journey into the next is the most beneficial thing you can do right now. The idea of perfection before engagement is a deadly trap. On that same webpage I believe it even mentions this. Being afraid of making mistakes or embarrassing yourself is a valid fear but there is a clear-cut difference between mistakes and inaction. Mistakes are virtuous failures which are organic to the learning process, whereas inaction is a deliberate, malignant failure and the antithesis of improvement.

If you read HPS Lydia Coventina's article on the 3 Gunas of the chakras, you will see that many of the ways to reach the energetic balance between Rajas and Tamas (known as Sattva) between the chakras are physical methods. The actions you take in your life directly affect your chakras and the way that they are balanced; this is not something that can be corrected solely by meditation. Humans as creatures benefit immensely from balance. Balanced diet, balanced energies, even the air that we breathe in to live is the neutral, balanced mediator of fire and water. The balance connects us to our theophoric selves.

It is good that you've highlighted these things in yourself; diagnosis of the problem is the first step. You've shown self-insight as well as honest evaluation and articulation on how you're feeling right now. I can relate to a lot of the things that you stated above. You mentioned that you have shut yourself away to focus on spiritual matters, but what we call "spiritual matters" are not exclusive to meditation and theurgy. Spiritual matters also include the Zevist's ability to apply the teachings of Zevism to every aspect of life.

-- If you're seeking the inspiration of bravery, I'd recommend the ritual of Lord Heracles:

-- If you're seeking how to attain more balance and structure in your life, I'd recommend reading about the 3 Gunas (a must-read in my opinion)

Don't be afraid of your own life, sibling. You are the golden opportunity. The Gods encourage your freedom and well-being, as does the Zevist community, and please don't forget that you never have to go through anything alone, we are always here to help... ☀️⚡

I've been there. It's easy to say nothing, do nothing, and be nothing. It's safe...comfortable, even. It's also torture.

To remain complicit in isolation from life is equivalent to dying while living. You have yet to discover the gift of life and the greatness of yourself.

It's good that life hurts; it makes the pleasures of what's good...relevant.

Years ago, I had an identify crisis so catastrophic to my social status that most of my friends and family left me, and even strangers that I never met before knew about me and made fun of me. Keep in my mind I was quite a personality at the time. I was judged, mocked, and ridiculed, and that was to my face, so you could imagine it behind my back.

I was angry and afraid. I stayed inside for 2 to 3 years, only going out when 100% required. It was the worst time of my life. I was no one and nothing, not because of what I did, but because of who I chose to be. I allowed the world to define me.

Eventually, through Zevism, I decided I wanted to become who I was always supposed to be—that work is ongoing.

Life is good now. I like who I am becoming. I have had wins following my losses. I have purpose and direction and a vision for my ideal Self.

You are being tested on Earth. Don't fail the test by never picking up the pencil. Write your own story before you leave this place with a blank sheet.

Blessings

I also went through a rough time, I self-isolated at home for 6 months, I never went out, I didn't want to meet or see anyone, but I can't believe how terrible it must be to waste years of your life like this, unfortunately now I'm going through a bad time, but I'm sure I'll come out of it stronger than before!

Some day the regret of not living will far outweigh the fear of living, and you may very well carry that weight for the rest of your life. You can never get this time you have back, nor youth if you're young. So spend it having experiences and writing your story in the book of life.

The antidote to your fear is in the very thing you're afraid of. Experience will show you that life isn't as bad as it's perceived in your mind, reality will dispel whatever illusions you have if you allow yourself to come in contact with it, and whatever happens, you will live on, adapt and grow from it, which will strengthen you more for facing life and its challenges.

And if you don't live on, then it's not your problem anymore. You still played the game of life. You still chose to join the arena and give it your best shot. That's all that can be asked of anybody. But remember, regardless of whether you act and participate in life or not, the time will pass anyway, and nobody makes it through this life alive and unscarred.

So, it's better to have lived through the full spectrum of the human experience than to have lived without ever knowing what life can offer, or what you can offer to the lives of others. Shutting life out might mean you're safe from the potential of most negative experiences, but it also means you cut yourself off from the potential of positive experiences.

Greetings, Brother / Sister!

Living life (in a sense of God Thoth who told HPS Pythia "live your life and you will not die") is not about forcing yourself into what you do not want (and what no normal person would want) – to force yourself into the herd, to get raped, trafficked, to force yourself into unwanted talk to uninteresting shallow people, or to force yourself into any other thing unwanted and uninteresting to you – now Media makes all life unwanted and uninteresting, unspiritual, uncultured, unnoble, ungraceful and all about wasting time. Soul never really wants what is now enforced and who is now enforced – consumers, parasites, ungrateful herd. To live your life – not the one forced down your throat but the one you really consider worthy of living – is doing what you want to do for the humanity, for the Earth and for the universe: changing here what needs to be changed, creating what is worthy of creation, innovating things needed to be innovated, inventing things needed to be invented, creating the art you consider worth, not the one you are paid for, not the one you are demanded from by anyone illiterate and uncultured.

What you are talking about that you disgust – and rightfully so – is the lifestyle of a consumer – taking whatever you are given (getting dishonored and trashed under the facade of love, junk under the facade of music, etc), eating any dung that is piled into your livestock feeder, drinking any poison poured into your watering tough, etc. Being a herd buying whatever you are sold to without asking questions. Living life in our sense is the opposite: choosing what you take if take at all, and choosing what you give to this world because into this you will return. Every day should be lived in Pythagorean sense: how many things did I do in accordance with my own views on how it should be done, and how many things did I do just because “I was too lazy to use my brain before” or “so was more convenient for my ego” or “because so was easier” or “so was more profitable and less problematic” etc. Which all sums up into “because it is just easier to be a dung in consumerist world than to try to stay a human and to build human life”.

Life is a neutral word, it does not mean any good or evil by itself but only what you turned it into. It does not need necessarily to be all about putrid filth “that is needed to survive” It still can be about honest work, serious art, real love – for the sake of another not for the sake of their wallet. The way now people get “picked up” looks more like a rape than like a date. Modern “freedom” looks more like a freedom to use other people as subjects rather than any Ancient freedom to Follow one's Heart. Following one’s Heart is where ego interest does not exist, let alone any interest even lower than ego one. Consumerist mentality is incompatible with any human existence, any freedom or any civilization at all.

I recommend to find your close friends among Gods and authors of great art and philosophy of the past when Love was Love, not the ego interest or interest lower than ego. They were literal, knew culture and language of their own countries and looked like humans much more than what now aimlessly wonders around. Get yourself attuned to these higher energies so that you simply can’t endure the consumerist society of subhumans. The key here is doing every your step in accordance with great ideas of changing the world to the better. Not just “getting one’s pleasures out of life” and living only to consume and to produce shit. We reincarnate to a very short period of time to give, to change, to innovate, to transform, to bear light. When every your day is filled with this service, you live a life in Zevist sense, not in consumerist sick cancerous sense of just existing with no goal like a plant. Life is designed to have a goal, to hear the call, to change the universe, to pave the way for others, other worlds, other civilizations.

Just ask yourself, what I – not some marketing company selling me things but I – consider this life worthy to live for? Finding new ways of healing? Resurrecting Ancient knowledge of medicine, astrology that does not lie, love that does not use, art that does not make sick, attitude to people like to Souls incarnated with a goal, not like to bags with money? Treading this path of your desire, worthy to live and to die for is what for me antique “living one’s life” is. Not the life forced down your throat – but the life YOU consider worthy. Full of sense and of greatness. It will not be easy, nothing great is. It will not look like the bounty marketing company shows you in endless propaganda on TV appealing to your lowest self. It will be full of fight – against your own evil first and foremost. But in the end of the day you will ask yourself: did my day have a sense? And the honest answer will not always be “no” as they were before.

Do not fear life – life is just a neutral word and for everyone it is what they themselves did out of it. Fear to not do out of it anything worthy. Because not using it for the worthy things is the only reason it is used for the unworthy ones.

When a person thinks and focuses on the bad, and also experiences the feelings that you describe, the person consciously and subconsciously attracts unhappiness into his life.

I do not know if you are a man or a girl, but I will say briefly that when traveling to another country, you always take: yourself, external problems and negative circumstances around you, including the attraction of any misfortunes, are due to a battered inner world that needs to be restored.

The inner world creates the outer world (in a certain context, which I hope you understand as a Zevist), you should achieve balance and balance in your inner world, then manifest the best states of your inner world in the outer world.

Cleansing the aura and chakras, meditation of emptiness, all this will help you balance the mind (meditation of emptiness), and cleansing the chakras will help get rid of dirt that clings to the energy centers (chakras) of a person and his soul.

«You will find on the left of the halls of Hades a spring, and standing by it a white cypress. Do not approach this spring at all. You will find another, from the Lake of Memory, with cold water flowing from it. Guardians stand before it. Say: 'I am a child of Earth and starry Heaven, but my race is of Heaven alone. You know this yourselves. I am parched with thirst and am perishing. Give me quickly the cold water flowing from the Lake of Memory.' And they will give you to drink from the sacred spring, and after that you will reign among the other heroes» - From the Petelia Tablet (300-200 BCE)
