All of our souls need a balance of light and darkness. This is essential for its development, so the soul cannot be empowered through darkness alone. It is true that some people have "darker" souls than others, but this only affects the person's personality and outlook on the world, not the way in which they can empower themselves. A soul which craves blackness is usually quite a dangerous one, as the person tends to feed of the energy and auras of others, although they have no knowledge of what they are doing. As soul which is like this though needs as much light energy, if not more, than other souls.
I don't think that there is a safe way of invoking darkness. As black energy contains a lot of negativity, visualizing it during the element meditations is likely to be quite damaging to your health.
The only way of empowering your soul through darkness which I can think of right now, is to call upon a demon usually associated with the dark, such as Beelzebub or Set to help you.

Can someone empower their Soul through darkness? I know that the soul needs
light but can it be done through darkness, for instance what if someone has a
darker soul naturally than others and that soul craves blackness instead. Or
light energy either feels off or doesn't empower the soul. If there is a way
without hraming yourself could someone please help me.
Also can you invoke darkness like an element, using the same element meditation
on JoS but visualizing maybe black energy?
