This pranayam I have discovered, bestows a myriad of benefits including the charging and strengthening the aura as well as the many systems in the human body.

However, today I am going to give everybody a meditation I have discovered through a rush of knowledge during one of my kundalini yoga sessions possibly given to me by the gods or my own kundalini.

It's a simple and straightforward meditation but the tricky part is in putting it all together.

Agni-Prasana, otherwise known as the "breath of fire" is not the same as Kapalabhati which is the "breath of fire" given by Maxine on the JOS website. Kapalabhati emphasizes on a forced exhale followed by a passive inhale, Agni-Prasana focuses on equal exhalation and inhalation in line with the pumping of the stomach/navel. The inhale/exhale is not forced but some focus should be put on them. Nor is it the same as Bhastrika, which is also sometimes known as the "breath of fire". Bhastrika is a pranayam used in Hatha Yoga and it is basically light and fast rhythmic breath. Agni-Prasana goes deeper than that.

This meditation involves the combination of pranayama, visualization, mudras, asanas and affirmations to empower any specific chakra or gland in your body and aspects of this meditation such as the specific mudra/visualization/affirmations you use can obviously be changed to aid the empowerment of which chakra or gland you're working on.

What this meditation does is basically build up an immense amount of vril in your body while at the same time absorbing the external energies of your environment so it is an extremely good idea to do this in direct sunlight.

I shall give an example of this meditation used to empower the pineal gland.

Please note however, this meditation should be done twice a day in the case of the pineal gland, once in sunlight and once in moonlight, so to balance the male and female energies absorbed by it. But this is not a rule and can be modified for individual needs. Do whatever you wish. Responsibility for the responsible.

1.) Begin by sitting in either easy, lotus or perfect pose. Depends on whichever you're comfortable with. If the above is too difficult, you may simply sit crossed-legged if you wish.

2.) Depending on which chakra or gland you're focusing on, use the appropriate mudra such as the ones given by the JOS on each specific chakra. As for the pineal gland, simply focus on the tip of your nose, appearing cross-eyed. This will help strengthen a direct connection to the pineal gland for strong empowerment.

3.) Start to pump your abdominal area with each exhalation and inhalation of equal emphasis. When we exhale, the abdominal area is pulled into the body, towards the spine. When we inhale, the abdominal area relaxes but remember this is not a passive inhale! If done correctly, you breaths should begin to sound like the chugging sound of the old locomotives.

4.) After about 10 seconds of this rhythmic breathing and pumping, begin to visualize your head being filled with brilliant light. Picture the pineal gland as a glowing cone with blue crisscrosses absorbing this light and growing larger and larger throughout the duration of this meditation.

5.)Affirm as many times as you wish, "My pineal gland is physically growing and permanently active. It is constantly producing the ambrosia".

It is important to remember that all steps in this meditation are done simultaneously except for the 10 second pumping/breathing period before you begin the visualization after which everything is then done simultaneously.

The rhythmic pumping and equal inhale/exhale is probably the most difficult part of the meditation due to your navel/solar plexus initially being weak or uncoordinated. However, with practice, you can overcome these obstacles as you gain experience in this extraordinary meditation.

As the cobra breath is the shortcut for raising sexual energy up the sushumna and empowering the chakras, and the sacral meditation on the JOS website is the shortcut for empowering the human body with the male exiler, so can this meditation be thought of as a shortcut for activating the pineal gland and empowering the human body with the female exiler. Thus the daily practice and mastery of these three "shortcuts" will pave the way for the initial rising of the kundalini and enable us to create the philosophers stone.

Nah what I meant is to start visualizing and affirming after 10 seconds of pumping and continue to pump after that mark. The 10 second period of pumping alone is just to get your prana going before you begin the mental work.

A couple of things I forgot to mention was that

1.) Applying a light neck lock (tilting your head down like a soldier at attention) will stop any dizziness that may arise from the meditation.

2.) Using prayer mudra along with this meditation very effectively balances ida and pingala. This makes it an easier and quick alternative to do before cobra breath instead of boring old alternate nostril breathing which may take a lot longer.
