Joe Rogan even says that this type of thing is what is going to turn us into grey aliens, just a small weak worthless body with all kinds of computers inside it linking them all into a hive mind controller.

So what's the problem with removing part of your skull and replacing it with a computer with wires going into your brain? All it is is another electrical signal going to an isolated brain in a vat, no different than the natural way. Imagine the facebook censorship being connected directly inside of your brain. You think any thought that is not pre-approved and accepted by the artificial intelligence hive mind, and it just gives you a little shock to cauterize that part of brain so you can't ever think that thought ever again. Injecting whatever thoughts, beliefs, urges, and actions that the hive mind wants you to have.
He said they can do a little version for people who have seizures, where the computer will feel that they are about to have a seizure and can inject an opposing signal to cancel it out and stop it. One big blast from that thing when you don't expect it, and there's smoke coming out of your ears.
