Elements of destruction&creation

Greetings,I was wondering what can the elements do in terms of combat,can an adept at the 5 elements use them to attack?I understand power depends on the individual,but would it be posible like e.g use earth to crush a victim,or fire to engulf them in flames?Would you already have had to have merged physical with spiritual?Please explain the limitations of the elements or enything.

The elements are, here, usually used in thoughtforms, elementals, and the basic raise and program. You have to be extremely adept with an element to create a more physical attack such as burning someone from a far distance.
