Electrical shocks...

I was at the grocery store the other day, and every time I touched metal, I got shocked! This is SUMMER and I can't understand it-- that usually only happens to people in Winter, right? Well, I have been doing a lot of vibrating of the kabballic alphabet and runes, I am wondering if that has not changed my bioelectricity in my body or something. Has anyone else had such an experience?

I get shocked by the metal surfaces in grocery stores all the time before I ever started meditating as well as after. Its probably because you built up a lot of static electricity somehow? Remember that trick as a kid when you rub a balloon on your hair or when you walk and rub your shoe against a certain surface? Maybe that's it.

From a guy that works with electricity all the time: I get shocked as well. There is usually low humidity is all grocreie stores which keeps static electricity from discipitating. People usually wear rubber soled sneakers in the summer so no ground. The carts are the same way, no ground. The static builds up so when you finally touch something, POW!!!! Personally, I hate it. I have been shocked by all types. I do not think you ever get use to it.

Yeah, maybe so. It's just weird b/c I have NEVER experienced getting shocked except in cold. But then, the poster who pointed out it is cold in grocery stores...that could be it, but why have I never had that happen until just now? I've always used that grocery store!
