EFT and the like, energetic tecniques for emotional freedom

Hi all,

Visualizza caratteri romani Has anyone heard, used, read about the energy techniques? Such a EFT, TAT, PSYK-K, LOGOSINTESIS and the like... 
How about these? I Have used some of them and it seems to work but I remain a little skeptical and a little worried because there is something I especially back in the way the advertising. But maybe it's just my paranoia, I'm in a moment of my life where I'm poor conscious and would like and appreciate your objective opinion if you wanted to know. I can not be objective and I would like to hear the opinion of others.

I put in my two cents worth on this earlier but my post either didn't make it or was deleted so I'll try again ...

I have the book and learned the basics of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and used it, with zero results. At the time, I was under very, very extreme stress so perhaps that had something to do with my lack of success and perhaps I didn't stick with it long enough. But, like you, I'm cautious and skeptical. So many of their testimonials make reference to xtianity, their 'god', angels etc., and that is very off-putting to say the least. But, to be honest, I've seen it written up favorably w/o the hype, in various magazines, even giving a few elementary instructions. Now that my situation has changed, I may look into it again to determine whether there's something truly sound about it. It's no substitute for Satanic healing, but like Tylenol, might be a help when managing/mitigating/healing.

I've never heard of the other ones you mention but there are programs that are nothing more than new age crap, useless at best (except for the founder's bank account) and some may be harmful. In that last category, I'm thinking of one that was hyped a number of years ago called, I think, Ekanar, or something like that.
