This is fine, I too find it easier to view myself in a 'third person' kind of view from time to time. It just helps me to concentrate better.
A part of Astral projection is to look back at yourself and see you sitting there, as your astral/spirit body leaves your physical body. So it is a good practice, though there is a difference. During meditation, you are simply expanding your conciousness outside of your body. Astral projection your spirit/astral body is leaving the physical body.
Remember Satanism is personal, what works for someone else may not work as well for you. And like-wise, something that works for you, may not for someone else. If it works for you, you feel it working and its comfortable, then keep doing this.

I have a question concerning visualizing my clairaudience points. I have been meditating on opening and empowering them and I can feel them. But when it comes to visualizing them I tend to visualize myself from a third person perspective , like I'm looking at the side of my head from the outside. I'm kinda confused bc when I visualize my clairvoyance points they're right there in front of me on the front of my head, so it's easier to visualize them as opposed to visualize my clairaudience points on the side of my head. I need guidance as to whether I'm visualizing my clairaudience points correctly or not?
