Curing type 1 diabetes requires a rebuild of your Kidney Yin or Yang as the pattern may determine.

If you were born with it, then this would not be easy, and could take many years.

It would also involve a great deal of dietary therapy, and your meditative ability to be quite strong and consistent over a great many years (10+).

There is no room for inconsistency or half-assed attempts.

There are other therapies which you can use an adjunct to your meditations and these include, diet as mentioned, herbs, manual therapies on a regular basis - massage, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and consistent Yoga.
