Detachment during mercury retrograde

Im wondering if I can do a detachment from myself including my chakras from entities. I did look up that mercury rules the throat Chakra. So im wondering, if I shoukd wait to do the detachment due to the throat Chakra or go ahead. Any information or links will be helpful!
