Dedication Ritual and Green candle

Is it ok to perform the dedication ritual with a green candle?I would like to do the dedication as soon as possible is there any self preperation I should do before?what meditation on the ToZ site is best to do after burning the paper?and once I'v stated the dedication prayer and signed it is there any other prayer or things I should say asking for guidance and protection?I want to make sure father doesnt find me disrespectful in anyway and I have few resources reguarding these issues in detail. Any help will be much appreciated

It's fine to do the ritual with a green candle if you can't get a black candle. There's no self preparation needed. I think any meditation will do. Nope, nothing needs to be said after the dedication. Father and the Daemons of Elysium will protect you once you dedicate. Good luck.
