Hi ive just performed the dedication ritual. I didnt think id ever be able to do it but my parents went out for an hour so i quickly rushed everything together and did it best i could. I have maybe a few questions though , 1) 'So mote it be, HAIL SATAN. I forgot to say untill the paper had fully burned out, is this ok?2) As i only had tiny candles i couldnt let the paper burn in the candle as the JoS site says to do, is this ok?3) the only place i could do it was the bathroom, is this ok?Hail Satan

I wasn't able to write my name completely with my blood (a line in this case only with blood). Also the fire alarm kept going off so I had to get up a couple of time so I cut it short and finished it. Here is the annoying question do I have to do it again?

All that matters is what you feel in your heart. The dedication is more of a formal thing then a ritual (it IS a ritual but the intent is the most important factor) If you are truly dedicated in your heart that's all that matters. Focus on meditation and the rituals now.

As long as your heart was in it, and you did write your name and get even a drop of blood on it, then it is legitimate.
Since your alarm kept going off, I take it that you burned it afterwards?

Im so happy  hehe i wasn't  been  able to meditate since of school  but i did try cleaning  my aura every  night. After the dedication ritual i felt so brave and bold im still trying  to get my old habits off but i think im doing well so far especially  since i would be having 2 weeks off school  i can meditate  without being  tired to do it.
