Greetings🥰
I know it is not necessary but i like to have better setups it makes me feel better and i believe the Gods appreciate it, currently i started displaying incense in beautiful bottle and also use a small sculpture of Zeus, i have oils, musks and perfumes that have beautiful bottles, can i display them? If yes, is it appropriate to spray one or it is of preference to use only incense because it is natural? I have good quality perfumes from good brands like ***, *** etc.. some claim they use natural ingredients, but i am unsure, if spraying perfumes irritates the Gods even only 0.1% i prefer not to, and stick to only displaying in case it can be done, do you also have other ideas for decoration? I am planning to add roses from time to time too

I like perfumes more than incense. Some of them are little beautiful crystal works of art, I can imagine what you mean. I can't see any reason you should not smell nice while praying. There is no ''only incense'' rule.

Flowers are a good idea! If you have skills for that, you can sculpt or paint art for your altar. Or a crystal ball: https://ancient-forums.com/threads/crystal-balls-scrying-spiritual-communication.92196/

I'm thinking of crystals, they would go with your crystal bottles. They have use in spirituality, so it would be functional too.

Greetings! I have a strong appreciation for elegant luxury setups too! It makes everything feel more sacred, and yeah, the Gods definitely appreciate the effort and beauty (like in ancient temples with statues, flowers, and ornate vessels for oils/perfumes).

Yes, you can display those beautiful bottles of oils, musks, and perfumes on your altar! They look like little treasures and add that luxurious vibe, just like your incense resin in the glass bottle (frankincense/myrrh in a pretty jar is *chef's kiss* ✨). Ancients used ornate vessels for oils and perfumes too – perfect for Zeus altars with scented libations!

Here’s some relevant info on aryballoi/alabastron (ancient perfume/oil containers):

Spraying? Stick to incense only for burning (natural & traditional). Avoid perfumes unless 100% pure—your 0.1% rule is spot-on! Display bottles as decor, or use pure essential oils (lavender, myrtle) dropped on charcoal.

More ideas: Fresh roses/laurel/olive branches, honey jar, figs, candles in fancy holders, amethyst crystals (for Zeus), small god statues. DIY scented soaps/candles with natural oils = next level! 🌿⚡

What do you think—gonna try any? 😊

There is nothing wrong with perfume, as long as it is good quality, as you mentioned.
I use incense and scented candles, what's the difference?
The Gods appreciate when you do that extra effort.
It's good too when doing certain magick workings, or invocation/evocation.
It's always best to look up the God/Daemon so you have some idea of what they like.

Although it's not strictly necessary to have elaborate or formal setups, they do notice when you put effort in and they appreciate it, and they understand your limitations as well.

You're inviting a VIP guest into your home, it is good to make preparations.

Having a clean environment, a pleasant atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, they appreciate all of this and I believe it attracts positivity in general.
