Should we recognize March 17th (now known as saint patricks day) as the Day of Osiris, I was doing some research and discovered that March 17th of the Egyptian year was the day Osiris was slain (hinting to Easter being after it, where we celebrate Isis/Astaroth, who ressurected Him....this is where the christians got there idea to cover this holiday with the slain jebus and his ressurection three days later.). Not only that, but the whole "green" aspect seems to be apropriate since Osiris is always depicted as being green.
