Dangers of Astral Projection?

so i was going to master this and use it frequently but i decided to just plain stay away from it because someone told me the silver cord can be severed and you can get stuck between dimensions of the physical and astral realm which is a pure void. anyone want to tell me about dangers of it or risks? or any other info would be helpful

I don't think you have much to fear. In the first place, look at what you just said. You mentioned something that was going to empower yourself and open you up to a larger world, and someone immediately told you something that has been regurgitated by people for a LONG time. And you immediately stopped your endeavors and decided not to continue...JOB DONE.

This is an example where we as Satanists always have to not just learn, but to examine the SOURCES of that learning and pick out the diamonds from the coal. This particular subject is debated by many, with some saying that the cord is very important and yes, if it is severed bad things happen. Some believe the cord is simply there to guide you back to your body, and it is impossible to sever. There are even some who don't believe a cord is necessary at all, don't use one when projecting whatsoever, and simply "blink" back to their bodies.

My recommendation - CONTINUE YOUR WORK - but do it responsibly. Before attempting projection, make sure you do your best to clear your area of any unwanted entities, ask Father for protection and TAKE STEPS TO NOT BE DISTURBED!Read as much as you can, and TRY THINGS. Experience is the absolute best teacher - no one will be able to tell you better than you can just figure out yourself(with a little guidance ).
